The department is led by Hamish Sharma, Australia’s most credentialed auction jewellery expert, having begun at Bonhams & Goodman in Sydney many years ago and most recently completed a decade as the Head of Jewels at Sotheby’s Australia.

The cushion-shaped natural fancy yellow diamond weighing 30.03 carats, is claw-set between a pair of near colourless half-moon diamonds together weighing 1.63 carats, the gallery and under-rail pavé-set with fancy yellow brilliant-cut diamonds, the small diamonds together weighing 0.45 carats, size M1/2.
Accompanied by a GIA report numbered 2195994532, dated 21 January 2019, stating that the 30.03 carat diamond is of Fancy Yellow colour, VS2 clarity.
