Yulendj Arts Exhibit and Auction

St Catherine’s School, Toorak, in partnership with Leonard Joel and leading Australian artists and galleries from Melbourne and Sydney, proudly presents the Yulendj Arts Exhibition and Auction. With the generous support of the participating galleries and artists, this outstanding selling exhibition promises an opportunity to view and purchase works from prominent Australian artists.

121

The exhibition opens to the public on Monday 20 April, with works from renowned artists, such as Yvonne Audette, Cameron Robbins, Jason Sims, Rennie Ellis, Marion Borgelt and Lisa Roet. Majority of the works will be for sale with some for auction on Thursday 23 April (6.30pm–8.30pm). Commission on sales will be donated to the newly established St Catherine’s School Indigenous Scholarship program for the sole purpose of supporting educational opportunities for Indigenous girls from across Australia. St Catherine’s currently provides education and boarding for young Indigenous girls from Bairnsdale to Broome and, as a School, seeks to further develop this program in the coming years. Monies raised at the exhibition will be used to bridge the financial gap between current funding sources and the actual costs associated with educating Indigenous students, thus providing academic, boarding, cultural and co-curricular opportunities. If you would like to find out more information about the Indigenous Scholarship program please click here.

The Exhibition e-catalogue will be released in April.
