Leonard Joel is the only auction house in Australia with a dedicated Valuations department, enabling us to offer a broad range of specialist expertise for the valuation and auction of single items and entire collections.
Like so much of Leonard Joel’s activity, our monthly valuation evenings have had to adapt during these times of change, so for the past four months we been conducting these evenings virtually.
Our online events have been a great success, allowing clients to walk us through their home as our specialists advise clients in real time what their object may be worth at auction. The service offers greater interaction and more personal experience than looking at individual images on email. It also allows the client to talk directly to us and engage with the valuing process. Additionally, clients have been able to make bookings directly online and select which type of virtual service they would like.
We look forward to offering virtual valuations as a standard service in the future, in addition to our physical appointment service, valuation evenings and online system.
