The 26 June sale will feature a blend of both vintage and contemporary furniture, lighting and other functional pieces by Australian and international designers from the 1950s to the 1990s.The sale has a strong representation of mid-century Australian and New Zealand design including more than a dozen lots of Grant Featherston furniture from two private Melbourne collections as well as work by Schulim Krimper, Dario Zoureff and Douglas Snelling. Contemporary work by industrial designer Marc Newson is also featured, ranging from lot 50 a red Felt chair ($3,000-4,000) to lot 51 an unusual black edition Sci-Fi vase ($1,000-1,500). International pieces include lot 71 a rare Borge Mogensen dining table and chairs (estimate $4,400-6,400) and lot 28 a tongue chair by Verner Panton (estimate $2,200-2,500)
